Hola mis amigos . . . I have been at St. Mary, St. Charles and St. Joseph Parishes for three years. For the past three years, it has been an honor and privilege for me to serve as the associate pastor of our tri-parish community. While I have been abundantly blessed in my ministry at St. Mary, St. Charles and St. Joseph, God now calls me to serve at a new parish community. With sadness, but also filled with a lot of hope and the joy of the Holy Spirit, I share with you that I have been called by the Archdiocese of Milwaukee to serve God’s people of St. Paul the Apostle’s church in Racine and St. Louis’ church in Caledonia, Wisconsin. I will celebrate my last Masses at St. Mary the weekend of June 17/18, 2017. I will be present after all of the Masses that weekend to say goodbye to you. Serving as your associate pastor has been a precious gift, and I take so many wonderful memories with me. As I reflect upon the last three years, I am amazed at all the ways in which God has brought us together to share in many of life’s events. With some of you, I have shared great joys and celebrations. With some, I have shared great times of sorrow and grief.  It has been an honor to share in these events, along with the other moments that we have shared in the Gospel, shared in the love of God and shared in being the very Body of Christ together.  I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your love, your prayers, and your encouragement. I also thank you for letting me be part of your lives and for helping me, through your living testimony, to grow as a servant of God within His Church. May God bless and guide you as you move forward on a Spirit-filled journey - with a new associate pastor to guide you. God’s rich blessings be upon you all. CHAO CHAO MIS AMIGOS, Padre Yamid Blanco Please keep me in your prayers, as I will keep you in mine.
