Communion to the Sick and Homebound

Communion to the Sick and Homebound

The Parishes have been asked when it may be permissible to use a pyx to bring Holy Communion to someone who cannot attend Mass.  The Archdiocese has stated that at this time it is preferable to have a priest, deacon or an appropriately appointed minister bring Holy Communion to the sick or homebound.  During this time of pandemic the utmost care must be made to ensure that those who are receiving Holy Communion are not put in danger of transmission of the virus.   If you know of someone who would like to have a visit from one of our priests or deacon, please call the parish office.
